Fleet charging. Cheaper and greener.

Charge for less and earn from your fleet's flexibility, always on time and built around your needs.

What is grid flexibility?
N 8 m 00 06 12 18 CHARGE WINDOW 20:30–04:00

Flexibility is how the grid goes green.

Wind and sun are Britain's cheapest new power, but they don't keep to a timetable. When the wind drops at teatime, gas fills the gap. When it blows at night, there is power to spare. A fleet of plugged-in vehicles can close that gap.

Absorb
Charge when the wind blows.
Charging moves later into the night, when demand is low and wind carries more of the load.
1.5 MWh
moved past midnight tonight
Relieve
Step back at the peak.
When the national grid is stretched, charging turns down through the Demand Flexibility Service, so the grid leans less on the gas plants it keeps for the peak.
165 kW
turned down for the grid operator, 17:30–18:30
Unlock
Make room on the local network.
Easing the local network when its operator asks lets more chargers and heat pumps connect without waiting for new cables.
210 kW
held ready for the local network, 19:30–21:00
Cheaper for the fleet.
Greener for everyone.

The objective

One optimisation.
Solved every half-hour.

Every schedule Electryone writes answers one question: how much value can the fleet capture tonight, without giving up anything it needs?

Maximise Savings + flexibility revenue
16:00 Value captured tonight 08:00
Subject to Every vehicle at its target charge by departure 40 / 40
Site import within the grid connection 680 kW / 1,000 kVA
Charger ratings and vehicle acceptance Always within
Market commitments sized to what the fleet can deliver Sized to fit
VTP DFS DNO
Solved again whenever a departure, tariff, price or market event changes. Figures are for an illustrative fleet charging at one site.
The economics

Five ways the same
kilowatt-hours pay.

Read it as a sum: start from the unmanaged bill, take off what better timing saves, then add what the fleet's flexibility earns. One schedule does it all, inside the same limits.

The constraints

Profit never outranks
the fleet.

Departures, the connection, charger and vehicle limits, and market commitments are hard limits in the optimisation, not targets to trade off.

Departures
Ready before every shift
Each vehicle has a departure time and a target charge. The plan meets both, then looks for value in the hours left over.

Night plan: each vehicle charges overnight in time for its departure, vehicles plugged in during a Demand Flexibility Service event are held through it, and a wholesale position covers the overnight charging.

Connection
Inside the grid connection
Charging, offices and workshops share one import limit. The schedule never plans past it, whatever the market pays.

The difference

Smart charging saves.
Electryone also earns.

The same fleet on the same night, three ways. Each gets every vehicle out on time; only one turns the night's flexibility into revenue.
